How the TGH works

The Myosa® for Teeth Grinders Hard (TGH) is specifically designed to work best for bruxers who show symptoms of Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorder. The dual layer appliance, which is made from flexible material, fits comfortably in most mouth sizes and when in place helps to reduce muscle tension around the mouth during sleep. Easily moulded, the Myosa® for TGH is recommended for night time use as well as during the day if daytime grinding is a problem.

Indications for use

The Myosa® for TGH is fitted over the teeth and worn at night while sleeping. It features a unique flat base specifically designed to protect the teeth and jaws from the effects of night time teeth grinding. The TGH can be moulded in under 2 minutes, which may require some assistance from your dentist.

Important Points

Intra-oral appliances may change the position of teeth and alter the jaw relationship. Unlike Rigid Mandibular Advancement Devices (MADs), the Myosa® appliances are flexible and minimise the potential to cause pain in the jaw joints or permanently change the bite.

Consultation with a Medical Practitioner is essential to correctly evaluate your condition.
