Myobrace® Adult Aligner Stage 2 - AA2

Dental arch expansion

The AA2 is the second stage in the Adult Aligner appliance group and specifically focuses on arch development (to make more room for the tongue while simultaneously training it to rest in the correct position), and continuing habit correction to improve other poor myofunctional habits.

The AA2 has a uniquely designed rigid inner core, the Dynamicore™, that can adapt to narrow arches, creating force to develop the jaws and align the teeth. The soft and flexible outer layer maintains comfort.


Design Features

Incorporating all the key myofunctional features of the AA1, the AA2 also includes a unique inner core (Dynamicore™), for additional arch expansion.

Directions for Use

Use your Myobrace® appliance for one to two hours each day, plus overnight while sleeping. Your teeth may become slightly sensitive in the early stages of treatment. This is quite normal but if the pain becomes excessive, decrease application time and consult your doctor.

  • Step 1

    Hold the Myobrace® with tongue tag facing up.

    Step 1

  • Step 2

    Place the Myobrace® into the mouth.

    Step 2

  • Step 3

    Keep tongue positioned on the tongue tag.

    Step 3

  • Step 4

    Close down on the Myobrace® and feel it working to align your front teeth and jaws.

    Step 4

  • Step 5

    Keep lips together and breathe through nose.

    Step 5

Cleaning the Appliance

The AA2 appliance should be cleaned under warm running water every time your child removes it from their mouth.

Use Myoclean™ tablets to thoroughly clean twice a week. Myoclean™ is the recommended cleaning agent for all MRC appliances.
