OVERVIEW
MRC seminars will teach you the myofunctional evaluation system for identifying breathing and myofunctional problems, as well as provide you with the ability to treat the myofunctional problems evident in almost every child.
COURSE TOPICS
- Acquiring and expanding knowledge to apply myofunctional therapy, in combination with Myosa®, Myotalea® and Trainer appliances;
- Recognising breathing and myofunctional disorders and understanding the consequences;
- Identifying the underlying causes of malocclusion and the possibilities for collaboration between speech therapy, dentistry and orthodontics;
- A comprehensive guide for the implementation of the Myosa®Activities program in your practice;
- Effectively educating parents and patients to achieve consistent results;
- Treatment planning and case discussion.

Roel joined the MRC Europe team in 2009. He is member of the MRC Europe lecturing team and provides treatment support, education and training to dental and medical professionals and their staff members in the Netherlands.
Mr Niels van der Valk
MRC Educator/Training & Support, MRC Europe
Niels van der Valk joined Myofunctional Research Co. Europe in 2013. As an Educator, he provides support to dental, orthodontic, and myofunctional specialists and their teams in various countries when implementing myofunctional therapy and orthodontic treatments. He delivers lectures, introductory and advanced courses, and conducts in-house training sessions. These sessions are designed for practitioners and staff, focusing on consultation, evaluation, and the practical implementation of the Myobrace®for Kids, Myobrace®TMJBDS, Myosa® and treatments for kids and adults. Niels also assists in setting up treatment protocols and activity programs and supports Myobrace® Member and Myobrace®Certified Provider practices.
