Myobrace® Educator Certification

OVERVIEW

Provide Myobrace® treatment at the highest level of effectiveness, efficiency and profitability by certifying your Myobrace® educators.

This course teaches advanced topics in being an effective educator, including all of the ‘Introduction to Myobrace® Educator’ course topics, as well as troubleshooting advanced cases. It also teaches the full Myobrace®Activities program and provides more information about using the Myobrace®Activities. Upon completion, participants will be certified as a Myobrace® educators by MRC.


COURSE TOPICS

  • History of myofunctional therapy and traditional myofunctional techniques;
  • Functional anatomy and physiology related to breathing and orofacial muscles;
  • Intensive Myobrace® activity workshop and troubleshooting;
  • Expert counseling and assessment of myofunctional disorders;
  • Habits (e.g., thumb sucking);
  • Latest research and exercises on sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) and sleep apnea;
  • Administration of a Myobrace® Educator (ME) Check, a myofunctional assessment form completed at each appointment to accurately quantify improvement and thus determine treatment progress;
  • Conducting an activity support session and a dedicated myofunctional troubleshooting appointment if treatment is not progressing as expected.
  • A comprehensive presentation of treatment options using MRC's treatment systems (Myobrace®, Myosa®for Kids, Myosa®for TMJBDS®);
  • A comprehensive guide for implementing the MRC activity program in your practice;
  • Effective parent and patient education to achieve consistent results.
  • Treatment planning and case discussion.

Jurgen joined the MRC Europe team in 2019. He is member of the MRC Europe lecturing team for the German market and provides treatment support, education and training to German speaking dental professionals and their staff members.

Dr Saskia Wolf
M.Sc. Orthodontics

After studying dentistry at the Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich, she completed her postgraduate studies in orthodontics at the Danube University in Krems in 2009. In addition to her practice, she works as a speaker for Myobrace® and trains interested colleagues and their teams in the myofunctional therapy concept of Myobrace®.
