After 30 years of experience correcting mouth breathing and myofunctional habits in children, MRC’s expertise has culminated in the creation of the Myosa^®for Kids range. Breathing and myofunctional disorders have risen to the forefront of attention for practitioners around the world. Although many practitioners would like to become involved in the treatment of these disorders, options have been limited for those who are not licensed or able to provide orthodontic treatment. The Myosa^®for Kids appliances allow practitioners to address either breathing or myofunctional disorders, or both simultaneously, without performing any orthodontic techniques and in a way that is risk-free, effective and well accepted by children.

KS1

Establish a functional airway and habit correction

The KS1 features large breathing holes and a thick base to open the airway and allow for some mouth breathing, while encouraging nasal breathing. It also helps correct myofunctional habits in the initial phases of treatment.

KS2

Establish nasal breathing and habit correction

The KS2 features small breathing holes and a thinner base to encourage continuous nasal breathing and ideal jaw position while helping to correct myofunctional habits.
