OVERVIEW
This MRC seminar will teach you the myofunctional evaluation system for identifying breathing and myofunctional problems limiting facial growth and causing malocclusion, as well as the ability to treat the myofunctional problems evident in almost every child and adult.
COURSE TOPICS
- Functional anatomy and physiology related to breathing and orofacial muscles
- Identification of the underlying causes of malocclusion & SRBD
- Diagnosis and treatment of breathing disorder
- Integrating Myofunctional Activities into the Dental practice
- Presentation of treatment options using MRC’s treatment systems: Myobrace® Trainer System, Myotalea®
- Treatment planning and case discussions

Dr Barry Raphael
DMD
Le Dr Raphael est orthodontiste et fondateur du Raphael Center for Integrative Orthodontics à Clifton, dans le New Jersey. Son intérêt pour l'orthodontie "globale" a commencé par sa rencontre avec Chris Farrell et le système Myobrace® en 2008. Il enseigne ces concepts à l'école de médecine Mt. Sinai à New York, au Raphael Center for Integrative Education, au niveau national et international. Le Dr Raphael travaille en étroite collaboration avec l'American Dental Association (ADA) et l'American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) pour faire évoluer la pratique de l'art dentaire au XXIème siècle.

With 30 years of clinical experience as a dentist, Dr. Pasco applies myofunctional therapy as a core component of healthy jaw and airway development. She the creator of unique, integrative programs combining form, function, and fuel to help children develop properly. A practice owner and management consultant for over two decades, she has been a professional speaker on practice management and clinical topics. Dr. Pasco is the creator of the Pediatric Airway Society (www.pediatricairwaysociety.org), established to connect, educate, and empower professionals in comprehensive airway care. She is also the author of “The Great Contraction”.
