COMBINING TMJ, SDB & MYOFUNCTIONAL DISORDERS

OVERVIEW

MRC seminars will teach you the myofunctional evaluation system for identifying breathing and myofunctional problems, as well as provide you with the ability to treat the myofunctional problems evident in almost every child.

COURSE TOPICS

Acquiring and expanding knowledge to apply myofunctional therapy, in combination with Myosa^®, Myotalea^® and Trainer appliances;
Recognising breathing and myofunctional disorders and understanding the consequences;
Identifying the underlying causes of malocclusion and the possibilities for collaboration between speech therapy, dentistry and orthodontics;
A comprehensive guide for the implementation of the Myosa^®Activities program in your practice;
Effectively educating parents and patients to achieve consistent results;
Treatment planning and case discussion.

Mr Roel van Breugel
Training Consultant Netherlands, MRC Europe

Roel joined the MRC Europe team in 2009. He is member of the MRC Europe lecturing team and provides treatment support, education and training to dental and medical professionals and their staff members in the Netherlands.

Mr Niels van der Valk
Training Consultant & Myobrace Educator, MRC Europe

Niels van der Valk joined MRC Europe in 2013. As a training consultant, he provides support to dental and orthodontic specialists and their teams implementing myofunctional orthodontic treatments in various countries. He provides lectures, introductory and advanced courses, and holds in-house training sessions for practitioners and their staff. These sessions focus on consultation, evaluation, as well as practical implementation of the Myobrace^®, Myosa^® for Kids and Myosa^® for TMJBDS^® systems. Niels is also a Myobrace^® educator and helps set up treatment protocols, the Myobrace^®Activities program and Myobrace^® Certified Provider practices.
